FAQ Answers

1. Why do I have to reboot on some machines and not others?
On some installations, the installer determines that it must install additional components so that StatPak-PC can run properly. When these components are installed, Windows needs to perform a reboot so that the components that were just installed can operate perfectly with the Operating System.

2. My database won't connect or has bad data displayed.
You may need to do a compact and repair of the database. To do this, shut down StatPak-PC and open up StatPak-PC Disk Utility. Click on Edit->Database Settings from the Menu bar. Select the "Run Utility on Existing Database" option. Click on the square checkbox next to "Compact & Repair MS Access 2000 Database". Click OK. The Utility will run, repair and compact the existing database. Once it is complete, StatPak-PC will notify the user the name of the backup copy of the original database. Click OK and you're done. Close StatPak-PC Disk Utility and restart StatPak-PC.
