Multiplexers

The 7151 Multiplexer (MUX) is an inexpensive and feature-packed serial data hub designed to receive 20mA, RS-232, or RS-422 serial data from up to 8 separate serial devices, with either similar or different protocols and data structures. Each input port is optically isolated for maximum protection, and manages incoming data flow at rates up to 19.2k Baud per channel, with transmission rates via RS-232 or RS-422 up to 38.4K Baud. The epoxy coated NEMA 4X (IP67) enclosure contains front panel indicator LED's to show status of each input and output line.

Flexible configuration of each input and output port is performed using HyperTerminal® or other emulation programs running on a Windows® 95/98/2000/NT platform. A DB-9 connector provides standard connection to your PC's COM port, and configuration information is automatically displayed on your PC's screen. No other multiplexer offers this versatility or ease of use.

When used in conjunction with Telemetry Solution's Statpak-PC, the bi-directional communications feature of the 7151 Multiplexer can communicate directly with our model 9102 Field Data Portal, or select checkweigher and filling system controls.
